Happy 2nd Birthday, Faith!

Today, we celebrate Faith’s 2nd birthday! Life continues to be challenging and definitely not without struggles, but we are so grateful for our Super Baby Faith. She is such a blessing and we couldn’t love her more! It is hard to believe that next year at this time she will be starting school and getting [...]

Playing catch up…

I will be playing catch up on this post and will try to summarize what Faith has been up to. I am super busy these days so I just haven’t had the time to post in awhile. Faith is now 21 months old! Faith is definitely making progress with her motor skills, it is slow [...]

Run for Sight 2011

Team Super Baby Faith participated in the Run for Sight again this year to benefit the Delta Gamma Center for Children with Visual Impairments. Great job, Team Super Baby Faith for raising  $1,595.00. We truly appreciate everyone who ran or walked on Sunday, or made a donation if you couldn’t be at the event. The Delta [...]

Pneumonia, AGAIN…

Faith has pneumonia, AGAIN! This is the 4th time in her 19 months of life. We ended up in the ER Saturday when Faith had a fever in the 104 degree range. It was kinda weird because she wasn’t really symptomatic besides just seeming very lethargic and warm. She does have a bit of a [...]

Faith Update

Things have been a bit hectic since my last post. Faith was a sick little girl! She ended up being admitted to the hospital last week for a couple of days. She was admitted due to respiratory distress. Her respiration rate was double what it should have been, her breathing was very rapid, and overall [...]

Out and About

Faith has been struggling with getting over being sick. It seems like she is always sick or trying to get over being sick. The last 4 weeks or so she has been running fevers or at least low-grade temps. She was also very congested, had a bad cough, and was vomiting. Faith’s reflux has also been really [...]

17 Month Update

I am running low on physical and emotional energy right now so this will be a quick update.  We continue to be very sleep deprived and are just trying to get through each day. Faith is averaging a total of 5-6 hours of sleep a day. We are lucky if we can get a 2-3 hour stretch of sleep at a [...]

Holiday Spirit

Faith enjoyed some tastes of Thanksgiving this year!  She just loved the cranberries! She did eat a little bit of potatoes but the cranberries really seemed to hit the spot for her and she did the best with them. We were very thankful that she did so great eating! We are very excited about the progress [...]

Faith’s 1st Trip to the Pumpkin Patch

Faith went to the pumpkin patch for the 1st time today! The Delta Gamma Center for Children with Visual Impairments organized this event with the support and generosity of a local pumkin farm. It was a beautiful day and Faith did very well! We even got to meet several new families who have children that are blind [...]
