Still a Lightweight, but Gaining…
Faith went to the doctor yesterday and gained an impressive 1/2 pound in 6 days. She now weighs 8 lbs. 10 oz. She is a bit of a lightweight being in the 10th percentile for her age, but the doctor is pleased and has no concerns. Faith is doing very well! Faith is a strong girl! She has quite a kick and grip when she isn’t so happy! According to Faith’s physical therapist, Faith’s motor skill development is good. She is doing everything she should be at this time.
Faith will be going to the ocularist next week and starting with conformers. We need to get this process going to ensure normal growth occurs.
We are loving life with Faith and thank God for her everyday! What a blessing she is!

I am a special education teacher, working with CD children in Wisconsin. I must say that your daughter is beautiful. What you are going through must be quite difficult, but hang in there. Even though she can’t see the world around us, she can paint a picture of it in her head that is so much more amazing than anything any of us could imagine with her words someday! You are in my prayers.
