Faith’s 1st Trip to the Pumpkin Patch
Faith went to the pumpkin patch for the 1st time today! The Delta Gamma Center for Children with Visual Impairments organized this event with the support and generosity of a local pumkin farm. It was a beautiful day and Faith did very well! We even got to meet several new families who have children that are blind or visually impaired.
Faith got to decorate her own pumpkin with lots of help from daddy…
Faith also got to ride on the pony express train with daddy….
And got to lay and stand supported in the corn box….
This past week was pretty rough! Faith is still struggling with congestion and most likely a sinus infection. She has really been working hard just to breathe since her nose is so stuffed up. All of this just made her sleep problems even worse! So hard to see the little one struggling!
We weren’t sure if we were going to be able to attend this event. Luckily, this morning she seemed to be doing better so we decided to give it a try. We are glad that it worked out for us to go! Hope you enjoy the pictures!
Happy Fall!
Keeping the faith,
Bridget
