Faith Gets Her 2nd Set of Conformers
Faith went back to the ocularist this week and got her 2nd set of conformers put in. As I mentioned early on, the conformers will help Faith’s face grow symmetrically. This will help prevent any additional ear, nose, and throat problems. The eyes under normal circumstances stimulate the face to grow. Since Faith does not have eyes or adequate eye tissue, the conformers help to expand the eye sockets. Eventually, Faith will be able to get prosthetic eyes. It has only been about 2.5 months since we began this process. It is possible that within 6 months to 1 year, Faith will get her prosthetic eyes. So far things seem to be progressing fairly well. However, it is hard to predict exactly how long this entire process will take. For now, we are thankful things are moving in the right direction!
As always, keeping the Faith!

One small step at a time. I hope things will fall along the way the best outcomes would be. Paul

Bob went with Bridget and Faith to the appointment. Faith was quite the trooper. She cried during the procedure but stopped as soon as it was done. She is prgressing quite well.
